Sun poisoning can be treated with a cool shower, aloe gel, and acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain. Also try to drink a lot of fluids and completely cover the affected area for a few days following the burn. If you see blisters or swelling, or develop a fever or faintness, contact a doctor.
